In recognition of Major League Baseball’s 2012 Civil Rights Game Weekend, which pays tribute to all of those who fought on and off the field for equal rights for all Americans. The Auburn Avenue Research Library will host this community forum on the historical legacy of Negro League Baseball and its impact on contemporary sports in the United States. Participants in this discussion include Historian Nasir Muhammad, and Sports Journalist Terrence Moore. This discussion will take place on Saturday, August 11, at 4p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Research Library.
