Premier Historian, Nasir Mohammad is passionate about research and probing the rich history of the Black community in Atlanta, Georgia. His primary concern is recovering neglected aspects of Atlanta’s Black history and demonstrating its integral relevancy to the social, cultural, and political life of Atlanta.

Nasir has partnered with some of Atlanta’s most important locations including: the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History, Atlanta History Center and South-View Cemetery to research and publicly share this Black history.   Nasir presents community visual presentations and lectures.
