You are cordially invited to join us on the 1906 Atlanta Massacre Walking Tour in Downtown Atlanta (5 Points/Underground Atlanta/Decatur Street) on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10am. There are no historic markers or signs to let you know about these horrific events that occurred in the Gate City. This racial violence had a profound effect on life in Atlanta, then and now.
Many of the innocent victims have been long forgotten as well as the (s)heroes, who stood up and protected their community.
This 90 minute tour will be offered at the special rate of $15 per person (limit 30). It’s approximately 1 mile of walking, so please wear comfortable shoes.
